Allow me to introduce myself.

Hi. I’m Jess. It’s nice to meet you. I’m so glad you’re here and humbled that you’re considering working with me as your therapist.

A few things about me:

I grew up near Washington, D.C. and moved to New York City in 2012.

My experience of therapy and relationship with my own therapist made me want to become a therapist.

My work with clients doesn’t start and end in session. It goes on throughout the week as I research and consider what’s right for our next session.

If I wasn’t a therapist, I would be a vintage boutique owner.

I like film and television nearly as much as I like being a therapist because I love witnessing folks learn about themselves through their relationship with others. My favorite shows are Mad Men, The Sopranos, and Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. My favorite film director is Nicole Holofcener.

When I’m not working with clients (in session), I enjoy learning about new pasta shapes, biking around Brooklyn, and spending time with my partner and his family.
